What is a print kiosk?
A print kiosk is a self-service station for document printing. A Print Catalyst printing kiosk connects mobile file uploads, customer-selected print settings, configured prices, payment confirmation and a compatible local printer. Customers place their own orders instead of handing files to a print counter.
Is a print vending machine an automatic printing machine?
A print vending machine is another name for a self-service document printing kiosk or Print ATM. It works as an automatic printing machine when payment has been verified, automatic release is enabled and a compatible printer is connected. Paper, consumables, maintenance and a working connection are still required.
Where can a printing kiosk be installed?
Printing kiosks can be considered for colleges, university campuses, libraries, hostels, offices, coworking spaces and retail locations. The site needs suitable access, power, internet, consumables and a supported printer configuration. Site suitability and operating responsibilities are reviewed before deployment.
What is a Print ATM or printing vending machine?
A Print ATM is a self-service print kiosk for document printing. Like a vending machine, it connects a customer’s selection and payment to a service—in this case, printing. Print Catalyst connects QR code printing, available print settings, cashless payments and the printer workflow.
How is it different from a regular printing machine?
A regular printing machine needs a way to receive files and print instructions. A self-service printing machine combines a compatible printer with an ordering portal, configured prices and a payment workflow, so customers can place their own document orders.
Does self-service mean no queue?
Self-service ordering can reduce waiting at a manual print counter: customers upload files and choose settings from their own phone. It does not guarantee no queue. Busy periods, print-job size, printer speed and maintenance can still affect collection times.
What is the starting price?
The franchise-owned model starts from ₹1,10,000. Final hardware configuration, software, installation, delivery, taxes and support scope are confirmed in your written quotation. Do not assume any item is included until it is specified.
Can I partner if I only have space?
Yes. Submit a space-partner enquiry with your location. Site suitability, kiosk ownership, operations and any revenue-sharing terms are reviewed and agreed in a proposal.
Can we deploy kiosks at multiple locations?
Choose the custom-partnership model to discuss a multi-site rollout, branding or integration needs. Availability and feasibility are confirmed after reviewing your requirements.
Can I use only the software?
Yes. Print Catalyst also offers printing software separately for compatible existing shop and kiosk setups. Software plans and kiosk ownership are separate offerings.
Will every printer work?
Printer compatibility depends on the model, driver and supported features. The proposed configuration must be checked before deployment.
Does the kiosk guarantee income or round-the-clock availability?
No. Demand and earnings depend on the location, usage and operating costs. Access hours, connectivity, consumables and maintenance determine availability. Commercial and service terms are agreed in writing.
